Positives
Steve Slaton is a big play running-back capable of breaking a run for a touchdown at anytime. He has developed better inside running of taking the holes given to him in his junior year at West Virginia. Steve in the NFL will be a similar runner to Reggie Bush but can hit holes a little better. He is a tough runner for his size with great vision and is potentially a big impact player in the NFL for many years.
Negatives
Although Steve is very explosive his size may be an issue. The defenses in the NFL may be too big for him to be effective running the ball up the middle. He has tried to bulk up but it seems that may have slowed down his speed a little. Him bulking up may not work out in the NFL which may make him rely on his speed sololy and turn him to a outside runner and receiver only.
