Welcome to MyMockDraft Tutorial and Help
First of all, welcome to MyMockDraft. This site provides an interactive NFL Mock Draft Tool and Database. You've seen Mock Drafts scattered all over the
Internet. What we hope to do is offer this information in a easier to use, friendlier on the eyes sort of way. Anyone is free to enter their own mock draft, and have it published through
this tool. All you have to do is continue to read this help file, and you'll be well on your way to showing off your own NFL Mock Draft! We all look forward to seeing everyone's ideas on the upcoming 2007 NFL Draft!
If you are not a registered member, in order to create your own Mock Draft, you will first need to Join this free service. The process is quite
simple, should only take a minute or two, and did we mention that it is completely FREE?
I Signed Up, But Where is that Registration Email?
More than likely, the email ended up in your Junk Mail or Spam folder. Search for an email from UniversalID@bcollar.com. If that should fail, are you sure you provided us with a valid email address? If you are, be sure to let us know. We'll look into the problem for you.

New Draft
Clicking on New Draft will create a New Mock Draft under your account. Give the Draft a Name and Description, then Click 'Create Draft'. This will then
take you to the 'My Drafts' page, and you will see your newly created Mock Draft.
My Drafts
My Drafts is a list of all of your current Mock Drafts, both private and published (we will get into this later). Now, you should see a row with the draft you
recently created. The Status should say 'In Progress'. You should see the following icons:
View - Clicking this will view your draft picks as they stand now
Make Pick - Clicking this will take you to the Make Draft Selection page
Publish - Clicking Publish will make your draft viewable by all Bronco Nation Vistiors - note once published, you will no longer be able to make picks with this Draft.
Make Primary - Clicking the Star will make this Published Draft your Primary Draft
Is Primary - This star indicates this draft is your Primary Draft
Delete - Clicking this will delete this particular draft, if you made a mistake
Make Draft Selection
This is the meat of the Mock Draft Tool. From here you will pick the players in your mock draft, sequentially, as if you were a General Manager of an NFL team. You will see some important areas.
On The Clock
This is where the selection is made. You will see the currently selecting team name, round and overall pick. Select the postiion you would like to draft from the Position dropdown, then select the Player
from the Player drop down. This player drop down is ordered by the positional rank in our system. So the highest ranked player left available in the draft, at that position, will be at the top of the list.
You can type in a comment for the pick. For instance, if you decide to pick Reggie Bush for the Texans (duh), you can try and explain why you believe he should be chosen. Limit this field to 255 characters, or
your comment may be clipped short. You will notice, as you change the selected player/position, a brief Player Detail area will appear on the right. Some players have scouting information, a picture, some ranking
information, as well as their height/weight/etc. Now that you have chosen your player, you can click 'Make Pick', and it will move to the next pick in the Draft. If you make a mistake, say you pick a punter #1 overall, you can
click on Delete Last Pick, and this will move you back a pick. (note, at this time, trading picks is not allowed).
Previous Selection
This little box will appear after you have made the first overall selection. It will simply tell you the last pick you made.
Publishing a Mock Draft
Ok, so you have done a 1 round, 2 round, or possibly 3 round (good for you!) mock draft, and you would like to share this with the world! Goto My Drafts, and click on the Publish button.
This will transform your mock draft into a Published Mock Draft, and now this Draft will appear in the 'Published Mock Drafts' Link. You can then share that link with your friends to see. Either by giving them
the url to the publically avaialble Published Mock Drafts (below) or to your specific draft:
http://www.mymockdraft.com/PublishedMockDrafts.aspx
Just as a note, this option is not available unless you have completed
at least 1 full round in your Mock Draft. So once you get to pick 33, this option should be available to you.
Published Drafts
This page details the Mock Drafts published by other MyMockDraft users. Feel free to check out what other
users are doing here on MyMockDraft.
Big Board
The Big Board is a list of our top 100 ranked players overall. You can click on a Player Name for more detailed information on that player, Click on their Position to get a
positional ranking, or the College Name to lookup more information on that college at Google.
Statistics
Similar to the Big Board, the Statistics is a list of the top 100 players selected in our database. This is built from the list of published mock drafts by our users. You'll see an average
draft position, high pick, low pick and total number of times drafted. This is one of the first steps toward some deep statistical analysis we plan on offering.
Research
This page breaks down the players by position. The players are ranked within their position, and we also show their overall rank. You can update this list by selecting
a position from the 'View' drop down list. Again, on this page, you can view player details by clicking on their name, or view more college information by clicking on the college name.
Leagues
League competition will be added to MyMockDraft very soon! You will be able to form a group of friends to share drafts with or compete against!
Stay tuned to this page as we will make announcements regarding ongoing promotions such as prize give-aways and special drafts.
